1. Moons Grace

    She came alive at night,
    sucking power from neon light.
    Leaving harsh troubles, in brash day.
    Under the veil of the moon
    they can hold no sway.
    Turn up the radio,
    be swept by the snap of a snare.
    Tendrils of sun leak through,
    gleaming on her auburn hair.
    Welcome back to reality - 
    Dawn eclipsing her sanity. 
    How she longs to live in the moons grace,
    to slip off this planet and into empty space.
